Tammy McMiller is the Founder and CEO of Plan Heal Health Companies, Inc. a health data platform that marries technology and social to empower people to become their own health advocate.

Before founding Plan Heal, Tammy held senior executive roles leading big-data, product development, and global market entry efforts for premier nonprofit and Fortune 500 companies in the Health, Telcom, Financial Services, and Travel & Tourism industries. Those companies include: The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Orbitz, Allstate, Discover, Motorola, and Baxter International. She has also been an angel investor in startups that help improve the lives of people across the globe in the microfinance and agriculture verticals.

Tammy is a digital enthusiast and industry recognized for using data to improve the lives of consumers and increasing market competitiveness for enterprises. She believes data tells the story of our lives and that it’s the spoke in the wheel that connects us all. Her data philosophy and commitment to customer experience has been recognized by leading organization like Forrester and J.D. Power.

She lends her skills and experience to nonprofits that have a mission to empower veterans and citizens to live quality lives. Her board leadership positions have included founding president, national president, and member. Her nonprofit experience includes: Social Enterprise Alliance-Chicago, Step Up Women’s Network, Meals on Wheels Chicago, United States Military Academy – West Point Chicago Field Force, and All Academies Ball Illinois. She is dedicated to veteran causes as she is from a military family: her husband serving in the United States Army and son, a Cadet at the United States Military Academy.

Tammy studied Biology/Pre-Pharmacy at the University of Illinois at Chicago, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management and Information Systems from National Lous University, and a Masters Degree in Business and Law from Loyola University School of Law. She is currently writing a book titled: Become Health Wealthy – 300 Unhealthy Things Your Can Stop Doing Today!
