Jacob Thayil

Jacob Thayil is a research analyst at the National Academy for State Health Policy, with experience in various health policy roles. Previous positions include undergraduate research assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, health intern at the Center for Medicare Advocacy, and health policy intern at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. Jacob also held policy intern roles at the National Disability Rights Network and contributed as a government relations intern at Vita Inclinata Technologies. Earlier experience includes internships at the North Carolina Department of Commerce and Common Cause, along with tutoring at Ringle and interning at Michigan Justice Advocacy. Jacob Thayil is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Management at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, expected to graduate in May 2024.
