George Freedman

Past President at American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry

George Freedman has extensive work experience in the field of dentistry. George has served as an Adjunct Professor of Dental Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences since 2017. Prior to this role, they were the Regent Director at IADFE International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics since 1997. George has also authored a book called Contemporary Esthetic Dentistry, published in 2011. In addition, they have been a part of the Editorial Board at Oral Health Group since 2007 and a Visiting Professor at BPP University School of Health since 2014. George has also held various leadership positions, including Director of Education at UDEC University Dental Education Conference, President at American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Materials Editor at Dentistry Today. George has served as the International Editor-in-Chief at Dental Tribune International since 2005. Furthermore, George has been involved in the EPDOT project, focusing on the development of a prototype dental office of the future.

George Freedman attended McGill University from 1969 to 1974, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Anatomy and Physiology. George then continued their education at McGill University from 1974 to 1978, earning a DDS degree.
