Jay Lund is a prominent figure in environmental engineering and watershed science, serving as a Member of the National Academy of Engineering since February 2018. As the Director of the Center for Watershed Sciences and a Professor at the University of California, Davis since 1987, Jay Lund has made significant contributions to the field. Additionally, Jay Lund has held the position of Adjunct Fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California since 2008. Jay Lund's educational background includes a PhD and BSCE in Civil Engineering, as well as an MA in Geography, all obtained from the University of Washington, and a BA in Regional Planning and International Relations from the University of Delaware.
