Prof. Mihri Ozkan is a distinguished academic serving as a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of California since 2001. Renowned for contributions to engineering education, Prof. Ozkan has been recognized as a Fellow of the National Academy of Engineering and received the John J. Guarrera Engineering Educator of the Year award. In addition, Prof. Ozkan has held the title of Climate Action Champion professor with the National Academy of Inventors since December 2019. Prof. Ozkan's industry experience includes a role as a Process Development Engineer at Applied Materials from 1994 to 1997.
