David Policansky

David Policansky has an extensive career with The National Academies since March 1983, serving as a Scholar and collaborating with expert committees on scientific topics pertinent to national policy. Alongside this role, David has also been affiliated with the National Research Council in the same capacity since 1983. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and both a Master of Science and a PhD from the University of Oregon. David is currently partially retired.
