Melanie Arthur

Melanie Arthur is a Senior Program Assistant at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, managing meeting logistics for research committees related to dietary guidelines and reference intakes while supporting report development. Previously, at National Farmers Union (USA), Melanie served as Food Safety Team Coordinator, assisting with USDA grant management and project implementation amid Covid-19 challenges. Experience includes roles as a Tasting Room Associate at White Hall Vineyards, a Researcher at Charlottesville City Farmers Market, an Outreach and Community Engagement Intern at WETA, and a Sales Associate at Duo Boutique. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and a certification in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from the University of Virginia.
