Melissa Walter

Melissa Walter serves as the Manager of Technical Training and Learning Management Systems at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine since January 2020, having previously held the position of Assistant Manager of Training. Key responsibilities include enhancing the Staff Development Program, developing training dashboards utilizing Cornerstone and Excel, and conducting audits to maintain LMS data integrity. Prior experience includes roles at Gartner as a Learning & Development Specialist and Client Engagement Specialist, where Melissa managed training logistics and curriculum analysis. Further experience was gained as an Account Management Associate at CEB and as a Learning & Development Associate at HITT Contracting Inc., focusing on employee training and development. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Christopher Newport University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership at the University of Colorado Boulder.
