Sarah Rovito, P.E., is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in science, technology, and innovation policy. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine since February 2022, Rovito previously founded and led Rovito Ventures LLC, providing consulting services focused on research advocacy and policy. Notably, during a tenure as an IEEE-USA Congressional Fellow with the U.S. House of Representatives, Rovito advised on key legislation including COVID-19 responses. Experience also includes roles at the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, where Rovito managed science and innovation policy, and various engineering positions at Booz Allen Hamilton and Draper.
