Sathish S is a Senior Scientist at National Aerospace Laboratories in Bangalore since April 2016, focusing on the development of a 19 Seater Light Transport Aircraft, specifically working on landing gear specifications and design strategies for unpaved runway operations. Previously, Sathish served as a Scientist, contributing to the development of a 2 Seater Trainer Aircraft and leading simulation efforts for the steering system kinematics linked to the rudder pedal. Prior to joining National Aerospace Laboratories, Sathish worked at GE Aviation from July 2011 to April 2016 as a Lead Engineer, developing bird strike analysis capabilities, and as an Engineer involved in structural design and optimization studies for the GEnX nacelle components. Sathish holds a Master of Technology in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Aerostructures from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering from the Madras Institute of Technology.
