Nina Bowes is an accomplished professional in the field of ageing and aged care policy, currently serving as an Honorary Fellow at the National Ageing Research Institute since April 2024. With extensive experience at Uniting AgeWell since September 2017, Nina holds the position of Director, Strategy & Innovation, overseeing services that support over 10,000 customers in Victoria and Tasmania. Previous roles at Uniting AgeWell include Senior Manager of Research & Innovation and Manager of Research, Innovation & Advocacy. Prior to this, Nina was a Manager at the Victorian Healthcare Association, where responsibilities included policy development and the management of capacity-building projects in aged care. Earlier experience includes a role as a Policy Officer with the Council of the Ageing Australia, focusing on national aged care reform. Nina holds a Master's degree in Social Policy from the University of Melbourne and has undertaken various professional development courses related to governance and leadership.
