Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Harkan

Dr. Al Harkan is a Managing Director of Ames Holding Group and has held a number of executive management positions, including Vice President of Savola Group, Secretary-General of King Saud University Endowments, CEO of the Business Sector, CEO of Dar Al-Arkan Real Estate Development Company, and Executive Adviser to the Board of Directors of Awqaf Company and Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Holding, and also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Saudi Binladin Group, and an advisor to the Minister of Finance.

Dr. Al Harkan also participated in the membership of a number of boards of directors for many companies and institutions, including: Alinma Bank, the Saudi Housing Finance Company, the Suleiman Al-Rajhi Endowment Holding Company, Al-Rajhi Investment Company, Al-Balad Al-Amin Company, and Makkah Railways Company for Public Transport. He also participated in the membership of the executive committees. He also chairs the board of directors of the Saudi Egyptian Construction Company, and held several positions in the educational sector as a teaching assistant at the College of Architecture and Planning at King Saud University, a faculty member at the College of Architecture and Planning, then Dean of Admission and Registration Affairs, and then Academic President of Al-Faisal University. Then as an advisor to the Vice Dean of King Saud University, then served as the Executive Director of the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Project for the Development of Public Education. Dr. has charitable contributions through the Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation and the King Faisal Hospital Foundation (Wareef Charity).

Dr. Al Harkan holds Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Architectural Engineering and Executive Management from King Saud University and the University of Michigan – “USA”.
