Janet Tran

Janet Tran is the Director of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum at the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration, a position held since June 2024, focusing on promoting equitable access to historical records and artifacts. Prior to this role, Janet served as the Director of the Center for Civics, Education, and Opportunity at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Foundation from September 2011 to May 2024, where responsibilities included senior strategic design and overseeing nonpartisan civic learning programs. Janet's experience encompasses various educational leadership roles, including Acting Chief Learning Officer and Associate Director of Education, with a strong emphasis on civic engagement and curriculum development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from UCLA, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from California State University, Northridge, and a Doctorate in Education from Pepperdine University.
