Lucien Darjeun Meadows

Lucien Darjeun Meadows serves as the Managing Editor for the National Association for Interpretation, overseeing a team of Associate Editors and freelance Copyeditor while ensuring the timely publication of content for over 6,200 subscribers. Additionally, Lucien has been the Poetry Editor for The Hopper since July 2019, leading a team in reviewing and editing substantial annual submissions. Past experience includes roles such as Managing Editor, Associate Editor, Prose Editor, and Translations Editor at Denver Quarterly, where Lucien significantly enhanced editorial processes and publication frequency. Lucien also contributed to the Graduate Students of the Four Faculties at the University of Denver as President and Board Member Mentor, and served as an English Instructor during the same period. Educational qualifications include a PhD in English & Literary Arts from the University of Denver, along with an MFA in Creative Writing and a BA in Psychology & English.
