Earl Tilton

Earl Tilton is currently the treasurer at NASAR. Earl previously worked as the rescue division head and lieutenant at Buncombe County Rescue Squad from October 2010 to March 2014. During their time there, they were in charge of the overall response capability of the Wilderness Rescue Team and the training of the squad's search and rescue technicians. Earl was also responsible for managing land search operations, inter-departmental contacts, and the welfare of the squad's volunteer staff. Earl is a certified EMT in North Carolina and has a NFPA certification in technical rescue with a wilderness SAR specialty. Earl is also a North Carolina tactical first responder and an IMT Division/Group supervisor.

Earl Tilton's educational career includes studying field of search and rescue at the National Association for Search and Rescue, emergency services/search and rescue/technical rescue (wilderness) at the North Carolina Office of the State Fire Marshall, and emergency medical technology/technician (EMT) at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.

Their manager is Mike Vorachek, President. They work with and Mikki Hastings - Secretary.
