Rick Kaplan

Rick Kaplan is currently the Chief Legal Officer and EVP of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at the National Association of Broadcasters. Prior to this role, Rick served at various positions at the Federal Communications Commission, including Senior Counsel to the Chairman for Transactions, Chief of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, Chief Counsel to the Chairman, and Chief of Staff to Commissioner Mignon Clyburn. Rick also has experience working as an Assistant Counsel at the U.S. House of Representatives, an Associate at Sidley Austin, and as the President of Kaplan Sports Group. Rick holds a JD from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Wesleyan University.
