Tadu Yimam

VP, Digital Engagement at National Association of College and University Business Officers

Tadu Yimam is vice president, digital engagement at the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) in Washington, D.C., where she is responsible for the membership, marketing, information technology, and publications portfolio. Tadu has been a member of the NACUBO staff since April 2007. Prior to NACUBO, Yimam served as the manager of public relations at The Endocrine Society and started her career as an Executive Team Leader at Target.

Tadu is a graduate of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland-College Park majoring in both Marketing and Logistics and Transportation with a certificate in Public Leadership from the College Park Scholars Program. Most recently, Tadu completed the Executive Leadership Program for Professional Writing from Georgetown University.

She has received several awards and has been recognized for her work in association innovation including the 2022 Association Women and Technology Champion Award, 2019 American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Foundation Innovation Grant winner, 2019 Association Young and Aspiring Professional Award (Association Trends), 2019 DCA Live - Association Innovator Award.

Tadu was recently appointed to the International Advisory Board of the University Management Program at the European University at St. Petersburg and is a member of ASAE, and The Gathering Spot.
