Thomas Adam Johnson

Thomas Adam Johnson, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of education and technology integration. Thomas Adam is currently serving as the Head of Digital Learning at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok Riverside, where they oversee the integration of digital technology into the learning environment for students in the Junior School division. Prior to this, they worked as a Learning Designer at VERSO International School from 2020 to 2022. Thomas Adam also served as a Learning and Tech Coach at Nanjing International School from 2014 to 2020 and as a Technology Integration Specialist & Learning Coach at Istanbul International Community School from 2011 to 2014. Thomas has also held teaching and technology-related positions at Concordian International School, Hsinchu International School, and Colegio Interamericano, Guatemala. Thomas Adam is an active member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS).

Thomas Adam Johnson, PhD has an extensive education history. Thomas Adam began their educational journey by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from OCAD University in 2000. Thomas Adam further pursued their passion for education and earned a Flash Animation degree from Durham College in 2001. In 2002, Thomas acquired an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) certification from Global Tesol. Continuing their academic pursuits, they attained a Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Fine Arts from York University in 2006. Thomas then pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University at Buffalo from 2007 to 2009. Finally, their dedication and commitment led him to earn a PhD in Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University in 2019.
