Ben Money has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Ben currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Public Health Priorities at the National Association of Community Health Centers. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Secretary for Health Services at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

Ben also has a significant tenure at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association, where they held various roles including President & CEO, Deputy Director/Chief Operating Officer, and Outreach & Enrollment Coordinator.

Ben'searlier experience includes working as a Program Director at HOPE worldwide and as a Public Health Nutritionist and Program Manager at Wake County Human Services.

Ben started their career as a Primary Therapist at W.W. Johnson Life Center and later worked as a Residential Rehabilitation Coordinator at the Center for Human Development (CHD).

Ben Money obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Psychology from Springfield College in the years 1976 to 1980. Following this, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing it from 1985 to 1987. In 2020, Ben attended Yale University and received a Certificate in Climate Change and Health in the field of Public Health.
