Carol Holden has extensive experience in both education and government service. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Counties (NACo) since December 2002, Carol has held various leadership roles including Chair and Vice Chair of multiple committees focused on labor, employment, and finance. Additionally, Carol has been the Vice Chair of the Board of Commissioners for Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, since May 1997, and previously served as a State Representative in New Hampshire from December 1984 to May 1997. Carol's early career includes roles as a Volunteer Coordinator in the Amherst School District and as a secondary school teacher across various school districts. Carol holds a BA in Political Science from Trinity College and a MAT in Education from Boston College.
