Greg Lyons

Greg Lyons currently serves as the SIPTU Ambulance Sector President and continues to work as a Paramedic with the HSE National Ambulance Service since March 2017. With extensive experience in emergency medical services, Greg has held various roles including EMT Programme Manager with the Irish Red Cross since 2001, and currently oversees EMT training and evaluation. Additional responsibilities include serving as a Peace Commissioner and as a NAEMT PHTLS Instructor. Greg has also previously worked as a Buyer in the construction sector and has solid educational foundations in Paramedic Studies from the University of Limerick, along with studies at Technological University Dublin, Griffith College Dublin, and University College Dublin.
