Paul Strauss

Paul Strauss serves as the Tactical Emergency Casualty Care Program Director at the Women’s Guild Simulation Center at Cedars Sinai Medical Center since December 2023. In addition, Paul holds the position of Medical Director for Covered 6, overseeing the tactical medicine training program for Law Enforcement, Military, and Security Professionals. As an NAEMT Tactical Medicine Instructor and a CA BSIS Guard Card holder with a Firearm permit, Paul is also a USCCA Concealed Carry Instructor and a CA POST - First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor. Paul has been a Reserve Officer with LAPD since September 2016 and has been practicing as a Physician and Anesthesiologist at Cedars-Sinai since June 1996. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Stony Brook University.
