Ruben Deleon

Ruben DeLeon serves as the Senior Director of Legal and Business Affairs for the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives and has been the Partner/Owner at DeLeon Law Group P.C. since January 2011, specializing in Intellectual Property transactions and litigation, including Patent Law. From September 2022 to May 2023, Ruben taught advocacy courses as an Adjunct Professor at UNT Dallas College of Law. Previous legal roles include General Counsel for New Millennium Concepts Ltd, Managing Counsel for TeleFix Communications Holdings, and Counsel at Ferguson Braswell Fraser Kubasta PC. Ruben also served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Texans Can Academies from 2008 to 2017, focusing on student education and well-being. Legal experience also includes positions at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Winstead PC. Ruben holds a JD from SMU Dedman School of Law and a BS in Computer Science Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
