Anita Chism

Anita Chism currently serves as a Cooperative Project Manager and Deputy Director of Administrative Services at the National Association of State Procurement Officials since July 2022, where responsibilities include conducting day-to-day operations and promoting NASPO. Prior to this role, Anita held multiple positions at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts from May 2017 to July 2022, leading a team in training and policy development and serving as a state-wide subject matter expert in procurement policy. Experience also includes program management at the Texas Veterans Commission and veterans education benefits coordination at The University of Texas at Arlington, alongside service in the US Army Reserves. Anita Chism holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science from The University of Texas at Arlington.
