Justin Kaufman has a diverse work experience in the legal and procurement field. Justin is currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer at the National Association of State Procurement Officials since July 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the General Counsel at NASPO ValuePoint from August 2019 to July 2021.

In 2008, Justin became an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where they taught law courses.

Justin then pursued further education at Mitchell Hamline School of Law from 2001 to 2004, obtaining a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law. In 2013, Justin completed a certificate program in Negotiation at the Harvard Division of Continuing Education's Professional Development. Most recently, in 2020, they attended York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, where they obtained a Certificate in Canadian Public Procurement Law and Practice.
