Ellen Samoriski

Ellen Samoriski is an experienced professional currently serving as the NLx Program Assistant at the National Association of State Workforce Agencies since September 2021, providing high-level operational support to the NLx Director and collaborating with various stakeholders. Prior to this role, Ellen worked as a Public Policy Fellow at the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, where responsibilities included legislative research, advocacy campaigns, and project support. Additionally, experience as an HR and Staff Recruitment Intern at Camp Wicosuta involved developing recruitment strategies and engaging with employees, while leadership as Vice President of Event Planning for Alpha Gamma Delta showcased skills in event coordination and budgeting. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications from Wayne State University, completed in 2021.
