Andrew Wise

Andrew Wise has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andrew currently serves as the Senior Director of Development Communications at the National Audubon Society since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Development and Communications at VOAMASS from April 2017 to February 2022, where they played a key role in developing and executing strategies for fundraising, brand messaging, marketing, and community outreach.

Andrew also has experience as an independent development consultant from 2015 to 2017, providing expertise in various projects. Andrew held the position of Executive Director at the Brookline High School 21st Century Fund from 2013 to 2015, where they led and executed essential functions related to fund development, programming, financial reporting, marketing, and operations.

Before that, Andrew worked as the Director of Development at STRIVE from 2010 to 2013, where they provided leadership to overall development efforts and played a key role in creating fundraising agendas and developing communication materials. Andrew also worked as a Grants Coordinator at Roca, Inc. from 2008 to 2010 and as a Capital Campaign Director at Lena Park from 2007 to 2008, where they successfully raised funds and increased campaign visibility.

Starting their career, Andrew worked at the Boston Private Industry Council as an Organizer from 1999 to 2007. Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated expertise in development, communications, fundraising, and strategic planning.

Andrew Wise has a BA in Communications from Roger Williams University. Andrew also obtained an MS in Public Affairs from the McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies at UMASS Boston.
