Carl Branson

Carl Branson is a seasoned professional in environmental management and forestry with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Restoration Ecologist at the National Audubon Society since June 2023, Branson previously held the position of Environmental/Natural Resources Specialist Team Lead at the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks from January 2022 to June 2023. Branson's career includes significant tenure as a Forester at both the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks and the Mississippi Forestry Commission, alongside leadership as the Owner/Operator of Holcomb Feed Barn. Branson began a professional journey in forestry as a County Forester with the Mississippi Forestry Commission. Branson earned a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from Mississippi State University between 1989 and 1992.
