Cat Bowler has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental policy and conservation. Cat started their career as a Helmuth Lab Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina from August 2011 to December 2012. Cat then worked as an Assistant Field Science Educator at NatureBridge in May 2014-August 2014. In January 2015, Cat served as a Naturalist at the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Cat continued to pursue their passion for environmental work by working as a Carbon Offsets Initiative Program Assistant at Duke University from August 2015 to May 2016. Cat then interned as a Climate Policy Intern at the National Audubon Society from May 2016 to August 2016. Cat gained more experience in environmental policy by working as a Water Policy Assistant at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions from August 2016 to April 2017. Cat then joined The Nature Conservancy, where they worked as a Water Policy Analyst from June 2017 to December 2017, and as a Water Policy Associate from January 2018 to March 2019. Currently, Cat works as a Senior Coastal Resilience Program Manager at Audubon North Carolina since April 2019.
Cat Bowler received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Science from the University of South Carolina, which they pursued from 2010 to 2014. Cat then went on to attend Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment, where they obtained a Master of Environmental Management degree specializing in Water Resources Management. Cat'smaster's degree was completed from 2015 to 2017.
