Dennis Lloyd

Director, Data Engineering at National Audubon Society

Dennis Lloyd has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering and data engineering fields. Dennis currently holds the position of Lead Data Engineer at the National Audubon Society since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Plum Analytics as a Big Data Architect from October 2015 to January 2021. Before that, they served as a Consultant at Curiously Correct, LLC from May 2010 to September 2015. Dennis also has experience as a Software Engineer at Siemens Medical Solutions from June 2003 to May 2010, at Blue Angel Technologies from 2002 to 2003, and at Netsmartz from 2000 to 2002.

Dennis Lloyd has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering and BioInformatics from Penn State Great Valley, which they acquired from 2004 to 2007. Dennis also holds two Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology, one obtained from 1999 to 2000 and the other from 1996 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Dennis Lloyd has obtained several certifications. In January 2020, they earned a certificate in Exploratory Data Analysis from Coursera Course Certificates. In December 2017, they obtained a certificate in Data Science Ethics. Dennis has also earned certificates in Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, The Data Scientist's Toolbox, and Introduction to Big Data from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2016, October 2016, August 2016, and April 2016 respectively.
