Kara Lankford Fox is an experienced environmental advocate currently serving as the Director of Gulf Coast Restoration at the National Audubon Society since October 2017. Previously, Kara held the position of Director for the Gulf Restoration Program at Ocean Conservancy from January 2017 to October 2017, and served as Interim Director in early 2014. Additionally, Kara worked as a Natural Resource Planner for the Baldwin County Commission between 2008 and 2010, and as a Project Coordinator for the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program from June 2004 to 2008. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Alabama, earned between 1999 and 2003.
