Lisa Gonzalez currently serves as the Vice President and Executive Director of the National Audubon Society's Audubon Texas since July 2021, where leadership focuses on strategy development for conservation initiatives across Texas. With nearly 20 years at the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC) before joining the National Audubon Society, Lisa held multiple positions, including President and CEO, where responsibilities included overseeing sustainability research programs that secured over $26 million in grants and leading the construction of Texas's first certified net zero energy commercial building. Lisa's professional experience also encompasses significant roles in marine sciences and environmental management, supported by advanced degrees in Environmental Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and Marine Fisheries from Texas A&M University at Galveston.
