Michelle Hamner

Senior Development Manager, Coastal Flyways at National Audubon Society

Michelle Hamner has over 20 years of experience in development roles, with a focus on nonprofit organizations. Michelle is currently working as the Senior Development Manager, Coastal Flyways at the National Audubon Society since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Development at Georgia Audubon from June 2015 to February 2023. Michelle also has experience as the Annual Fund Director at EARTH University Foundation from March 2010 to February 2013. Michelle worked as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving at Emory University from August 2006 to May 2010. Additionally, Michelle has managerial experience, having worked as the Manager at Southern Hope Humane Society from February 2006 to August 2006 and as Manager/Development Assistant at Happy Tales Humane from November 2003 to February 2006.

Michelle Hamner, MPA obtained their Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a specialization in Nonprofit Management from The University of Georgia. Michelle attended this program from 2007 to 2009. Prior to their MPA, Michelle pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science also at The University of Georgia. Michelle completed their undergraduate education from 1999 to 2003.
