Zayda Ortiz

Zayda Ortiz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Zayda is currently working as an Operations Manager at the National Audubon Society, where they oversee administrative systems and manages contracts and financial controls. Prior to this, Zayda was employed at TheCIL - Center for Independent Living, where they held various roles including Program Director, Salesforce Administrator, Program Manager, and Community Connections (CoCo) Youth Specialist. At San Francisco State University, Zayda worked as a Data Analysis/GIS Teaching Assistant and Operations Manager Assistant. Zayda also gained experience as a Sustainability Intern at the National Park Service. Zayda's work history includes an internship as a Volunteer and Community Engagement Intern at TreePeople, where they conducted tree planting instruction, managed volunteer records, and facilitated seminars. Additionally, they worked as a Dog Walker at Wag Labs Inc.

Zayda Ortiz received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Urban Studies & Planning from San Francisco State University, between the years 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2017, Zayda attended Los Angeles Pierce College, where they majored in Architecture. Their secondary education took place at Van Nuys Senior High School from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, Zayda obtained the Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification from Salesforce in August 2022.
