Sunil Kumar serves as a Professor of Practice at Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) since August 2024 and has held the position of Chief General Manager at NABARD since July 2016, where responsibilities include climate financing, enhancing farmers' market access, and providing policy inputs to government bodies. Sunil Kumar has been associated with NABCONS, a NABARD subsidiary, since January 1988, holding roles such as General Manager and Vice President, focusing on consultancy in agriculture and rural development. Previously, Sunil Kumar worked at the Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD) from May 2009 to April 2014 as DGM and Faculty Member, conducting training programs for bank officials. Sunil Kumar holds a PhD in Economics from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and has educational backgrounds from Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) and Sainik School Tilaiya.
