Christophe Matt

Senior Director, Architecture & Software Eng - Digital Factory at National Bank of Canada

Christophe Matt has a diverse work experience in the technology and financial industry. Christophe began their career at Orckestra Technologies as a Software Engineering Consultant, where they implemented large-scale e-commerce platforms. Christophe then took on the role of Technical Lead, providing technical and team leadership.

In 2016, Christophe joined PwC Canada as a Senior Manager, specializing in technology and data analytics. Christophe acted as a hands-on technical lead for the Montreal Risk Assurance Services practice and was involved in hiring, performance reviews, and coaching new team members.

In 2018, Christophe joined Adaptive Financial Consulting as a Delivery Lead and Consultant in Software Engineering. Christophe provided expertise to clients in the financial industry, acting as an advisor, team leader, or individual contributor depending on the engagement.

Currently, Christophe is employed at Banque Nationale du Canada. Christophe started as a Technical Lead and Application Architect in the Digital Factory, providing software engineering and technical expertise. Christophe then moved on to the role of Principal Domain Architect before landing their current position as Senior Director of Architecture and Software Engineering in the Digital Factory.

Christophe Matt completed their education from 2007 to 2012 at ECE, Ecole d'ingénieurs, where they obtained an Ingénieur degree in Systèmes d'information. In 2011, they also attended Polytechnique Montréal, focusing on Systèmes d'information. Additionally, in 2009, Christophe attended Concordia University, studying Computer Science. Christophe holds a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, obtained from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2023.
