Eric Lafreniere has extensive work experience in the banking sector. Eric began their career in 2006 at Caisse Financial Group as a Member Relationship Manager. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Commercial Account Manager within the same company. Lafreniere then joined the National Bank of Canada in 2015 as a Manager in Commercial and Agricultural Banking. Eric progressed within the organization and took on roles such as Senior Account Manager and Team Lead in Commercial Banking. Most recently, Lafreniere reached the position of Vice President & Head of Commercial Banking for Manitoba and Saskatchewan at the National Bank of Canada.

Eric Lafreniere has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Business from Université de Saint-Boniface, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008.
