Alaa El Nakoury

Alaa El Nakoury is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the banking and investment sectors. Currently serving as the CFO for Asset & Investment Management at the National Bank of Egypt since December 2010, Alaa has previously held key positions including Head of Planning & Analytics at Emirates NBD, CFO at ABQ Zawya, Senior Manager - Finance at Barclays, and Business Planning & Analysis Head at Citibank. Early career roles include Manager - Funds and Portfolios and Senior Investment Analyst at Concord International Investments, as well as Projects Evaluation Analyst at Gulf Arab Investments Company. Alaa holds an MBA in Financial Management from the University of Exeter and a BA in Business Administration from The American University in Cairo.
