Verra Marmalidou

Verra Marmalidou has extensive work experience in the banking sector, primarily with the National Bank of Greece. Verra started their career at the bank in 1984 as a Branch Officer and later became a Senior Auditor. Subsequently, they joined National Securities in 1998 as the Head of Private Banking Sector. Returning to the National Bank of Greece in 2006, they served as an Audit Manager and later as the Deputy Director of NBG Group Internal Audit. From 2018 to 2020, they held the position of Director of Internal Audit. In 2020, they became the Head of Compliance risk governance and monitoring and SRCO - Segment Risk & Control Officer. Additionally, they have experience in automating audit work and processes, developing computerized tools, and implementing "Continuous Auditing" mechanisms through specific applications.

Verra Marmalidou obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens from 1981 to 1986.
