Sohail Malik

Sohail Malik is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the banking and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as the Group Head of Digital Banking at the National Bank of Pakistan since May 2022. Expertise includes digital strategy execution, process automation, customer experience enhancement, and regulatory compliance while overseeing paperless banking initiatives. Previously, Sohail held significant roles in HBL Microfinance Bank LTD, where the transition from a manual to a fully digital banking system was achieved, and at FINCA International, where innovative digital banking services were developed. Career history also encompasses leadership positions in branchless banking and consultancy for telecom products. Sohail holds an MBA in Marketing from Preston Institute of Management Sciences & Technology and a BBA from Preston University.
