Leonie Simo, CPA, CGMA has extensive work experience in various accounting roles. Leonie started their career at Kelly Services as a Staff Accountant from October 2003 to January 2006. Leonie then worked at Staples Inc. as an Accountant from January 2006 to June 2007, where they maintained rent and occupancy transactions and facilitated the rollout of a shared service center. Leonie then joined Dell as a Senior Accountant Analyst and completed the monthly close process and filed tax returns from 46 states. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at Aspen Technology in roles such as Senior International Accountant, where they maintained accounting records and completed reporting for international subsidiaries, and as a Senior Accountant, where they facilitated negotiations and prepared account analysis. In 2013, they founded the Simo Tagne Joseph Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to students in need. Leonie became the Manager of Accounting at National Bankruptcy Services, LLC in 2014, where they assist external auditors and ensures compliance with policies. Leonie Simo, CPA, CGMA completed their Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) degree from Roosevelt University in the year 2005. In addition, they obtained their IFRS Certificate from the AICPA in August 2015.
