Richard Castillo

Richard Castillo, OD, DO, FASOS, is a highly experienced optometrist and ophthalmologist with a strong background in education and clinical practice. Richard currently serves as the Senior Director of Clinical Examination Development & Administration at the National Board of Examiners in Optometry®. Throughout their career, Richard has been actively involved in teaching, lecturing, and consulting on various aspects of ophthalmology, including advanced procedures, surgery, and diagnostics. Additionally, Richard has volunteered as a Physician with the Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps and as a Grant Reviewer for the US Department of Health and Human Services. With a commitment to education and patient care, Richard continues to be a valuable resource in the field of optometry and ophthalmology.
