William Engel Do, Msc, Faap

National Faculty For Adolescent And Pediatric Medicine at NATIONAL BOARD OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICAL EXAMINERS INC

William Engel, DO, MSc, FAAP, currently serves as the EMS Advisory Board Chair at Central Virginia Community College and holds positions as Department Chair and Pediatric Hospitalist at Centra Health. Engel is also an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine and has been a contributing author for the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians and the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. Engel's previous experience includes serving as a Pediatric Critical Care Fellow at Children's Mercy Kansas City and a Resident Physician at Advocate Children's Hospital. With extensive contributions to various medical educational materials, Engel has a strong background in pediatric medicine, critical care education, and public safety training. Education includes a Doctor of Osteopathy from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, a Master’s degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from UNT Health Science Center, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington.
