Julia Veitinger, MPH, serves as a Scientific & Medical Advisory Council Board Member for the National Brain Tumor Society, focusing on initiatives to enhance survival and quality of life for brain tumor patients. As a Young Adult Patient Advocate, Julia represents the interests of young brain cancer patients in advocacy campaigns. In addition, Julia is the FDA Research Roundtable Young Adult Representative, advocating for the inclusion of younger demographics in clinical trials and research. Currently, Julia holds the position of Senior Research Project Coordinator at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, analyzing data related to neurological manifestations of COVID-19. Julia's previous roles include Graduate Research Assistant at the Food Fortification Initiative and participation in various research and educational capacities at Georgia Center for Oncology Research and Education, Emory University, and Washington University School of Medicine. Julia holds a Master’s of Public Health in Global Health, an MBA from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis.
