John has held various research and advisory roles in prestigious organizations such as Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, The National Bureau of Asian Research, and the U.S. Trade Representative's Office. John holds a Master of Science in International Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs - Asian Studies and History from Gonzaga University.
