Timothy Shuen is a Senior Research Fellow and Research Manager at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, leading the Virus-Induced Cancers: Translational Oncology Research and immunologY (VICTORY) program since March 2014. Prior to this role, Timothy served as a Research Fellow and Research Associate at The University of Hong Kong for a brief period in late 2013. Earlier experiences include a research internship focused on Rho GTPase in astrocytes at the Institut Pasteur, and various internships in biotechnology and marine science. Timothy holds a PhD in Cancer Biology from The University of Hong Kong, a Master of Research in Molecular Biology from the University of Nottingham, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Ulster University. Additional educational qualifications include a Higher Diploma in Analytical Science and Biotechnology from the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education.
