Amanda Palacios has extensive experience in counseling and social work, currently serving as a Primary Counselor at National Capital Treatment & Recovery since June 2022. Prior to this role, Amanda worked as an LCADC Social Work Intern at BlueCrest Recovery Center, facilitating group sessions focused on substance addiction recovery. Amanda also gained experience as a Social Work Intern at Columbia High School, providing individual counseling to students and advocating for diverse youth populations. Earlier professional experience includes a position as a Digital Marketing Manager at Ford Motor Company. Amanda holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Rutgers University - Newark and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The College of New Jersey, along with a residency in Illustration at the School of Visual Arts.
