Dana Shumate is currently serving as the NCAC Director of Strategic Partnership at the National Career Academy Coalition since July 2023. Concurrently, Dana holds the position of Project Manager at Jefferson County Public Schools, a role initiated in February 2022. As a consultant at SHUMATE CONSULTING LLC since January 2019, Dana brings extensive expertise in fostering business-educational partnerships, a skill honed during tenure as Business Service Manager for the Rogue Workforce Partnership from March 2016 to January 2023. Dana previously coordinated business involvement at Jefferson County Public Schools from August 1987 to July 2014, fostering community and educational collaborations. Earlier roles include supervising home school coordinators and teaching at Hazelwood Elementary. Dana holds a Rank I in Education from the University of Louisville, obtained between 1984 and 1986.
