Chris Askew - Merwin

Christopher Askew-Merwin currently serves as a Sustainable Agriculture and Water Specialist at the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators. Previous roles include Policy and Advocacy Coordinator at InterAction, where responsibilities involved managing the WASH Working Group and authoring policy briefs, along with experience as a contractor for the National Wildlife Federation, focusing on environmental justice analyses. Additional expertise includes positions as Senior Policy Analyst for Water Programs at the Northeast-Midwest Institute and various research roles at the University of Michigan, where Christopher contributed to significant environmental projects and taught undergraduate courses. Christopher holds a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Science in Environmental Justice, in addition to a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, all from the University of Michigan.
