Janet Stone

Janet Stone is a Licensed Social Worker at The National Center for Children and Families since March 2023. Previously, Janet served as VP of Partnerships at The Brady Campaign & Center for Gun Violence Prevention from June 2017 to January 2019, where Janet established a partnerships department and secured multiple partnerships with national organizations. Janet’s earlier experience includes roles as Capital Campaign Director and Director of Development at THEARC-Building Bridges Across the River, where Janet successfully completed a $14 million capital campaign and developed the organization's fundraising and strategic operations. Additionally, Janet worked as Divisional Director of Ad Sales Marketing at Discovery Communications, overseeing advertising sales presentations and collateral. Janet holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from Tulane University, and an MBA in Marketing from The Wharton School.
